As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of one of the largest credit unions in Saint Lucia. You will be working within a dynamic and exciting environment from which you will learn more about the operations of the organization, to which you will actively contribute, by providing your own working experience, knowledge and enthusiasm.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is elected by the Credit Union membership during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and reports to the General Membership. The Board of Directors has the ultimate authority and responsibility for decision making and controlling the affairs of the Credit Union as well as providing effective and efficient management of overall operations.
Credit Committee
The Credit Committee is elected by the General Membership at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Credit Committee’s sole responsibility is to evaluate the borrower’s ability to repay loans granted and making the loan decision.
Supervisory Committee
The General Membership at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) elects the Supervisory Committee. The Supervisory Committees principal objectives are to perform or select and supervise a qualified individual who will perform the annual audit, member account variation and periodic internal audits of operational areas throughout the year.
Volunteers must be committed, enthusiastic, and willing to uphold the principles of the Credit Union Movement.
