Jannou ‘Tet Paul’ Hike
Castries, St. Lucia November 11, 2022 - After a two-year hiatus Jannou Credit Union
hosted its annual hike, this time through the exotic trail of Tet Paul.
One hundred and thirty (130) members assisted by Jannou staff met at the branches of Jannou
Credit Union in Castries and Vieux Fort on Sunday, 6th November 2022 at 7:00 am for the 2022-
member hike. After Roll Call and a light snack, they boarded their buses and took the scenic
West Coast drive to Soufriere. During the forty-five (45) minute guided hike along the lush Tet
Paul trail, members learnt about the area and its vegetation, looked out at stunning scenery, and
of course, took photos using the majestic Pitons as background. Following the hike, members
were treated to lunch at Fond Doux where they were welcomed with pulsating sounds from a
local folk band.
This activity has been hosted by the Credit Union for over twenty (20) years (first as Civil
Service Credit Union and now as Jannou). The objective of this activity was three-fold, to get
members moving, create a social environment where members could strengthen the Jannou bond
and lastly, appreciate the splendour of this place we call home.
